Why would we Cleanse?

By Ronald Curtis Jr

You know when it comes to losing weight, the last thing I thought of was cleansing. As a matter of fact, anytime I heard the word cleanse it made me think about sitting on the toilet for hours, if you know what I mean.

When we started to learn more about full body cleansing, we quickly realized, we were wrong.

Once we decided to give cleansing a try, being very skeptical at first, both of us decided we were going to give it a fair evaluation and follow the programs regiment to the "T!"

The system we initially started with was an 11 day program. They call it a 9 day cleanse and fat burning system, however, the program includes 2 pre-cleanse days.

Anyhow, the system was simple:
2 Shake Days (Pre-cleanse)
2 Cleanse Days
5 Shake Days
2 Cleanse Days

On the shake days we would supplement 2 meals with Shakes and eat 1 meal daily (400-600 calories)

On the cleanse days we would drink a full body cleansing formula, along with small snacks provided in the system throughout the day.

We were amazed at how filling the shakes were. OK, an understatement, they were awesome! Then, on the cleanse days, the thought of not being able to eat any meals for 2 days in a row was probably the hardest part. "THE THOUGHT OF..."

If you take the snacks as instructed throughout the day, drink plenty of water, it really wasn't difficult at all! Not to mention, you literally feel amazing, and the weight loss is noticeable by the 3rd day!

Fast forwarding to the end of our system, my wife and I both lost 12lbs and several inches in only 11 days. We felt clean. You won't understand until you experience it yourself.

Cleansing is truly about lifestyle. Losing weight is a great feeling, especially when you have struggled with your weight, like I have my whole life.

However, it does require commitment. You have to want to change in order for it to work for you!

Forget about dieting, try cleansing instead! We highly recommend it.

As you can imagine, this is a subject that I have studied very closely.

For an obese person to use this sort of 'cleansing' technique (wonderful, inocuous name!) is probably very safe BUT anybody who is average body weight can do serious damage if the weight loss is more than a level of fluid (which is what I think it is).

A rapid loss of weight, and for a lot of people 1lb a day, constantly, falls into that category, can have people finding that they have insufficient disposable body fat to accommodate the loss. This could lead to the loss of essential fat around the heart and lead to problems in that area.

This is one of those procedures that, really, needs a professional medical opinion for each individual BEFORE they try it.

It is recommended that anyone consult a physician before they try any weight loss program. This is our experience on this particular program, and we have had several others whom have had similar results.

Also, like we did, it is important that everyone does their research before getting started with a weight loss program.

Again, if you are overweight, there is no miracle cure. You will need to change your eating habits and adapt to a new lifestyle. For many, this is what prevents them from ever achieving their desired result. (It was for me for many, many years!)

Thanks for your comment. Be blessed,
Ron

Why is it safe to lose weight fast with Isagenix®?
- Most Diets that promote RAPID weight loss use harsh diuretics which rob the body of important nutrients and minerals (especially potassium, magnesium, calcium) which can dangerously upset your electrolyte balance - causing dehydration and often, depression
- They also use harmful stimulants like MaHaung, Ephedra or Caffeine, which speed up your metabolism in an unhealthy way, increasing your blood pressure and heart rate.
- This is NOT the case with Isagenix®
- Isagenix® does not use harmful stimulants.... it feeds your body wholesome liquid food (242 nutrients) to help CLEANSE your body and NOURISH and REJUVENATE your cells.
- That is why you feel so vibrant and have so much energy. When you help your body to free itself of poisonous chemicals and toxins - you feel better, brighter and have a lot more energy.

I'm gonna have to second what the old coot said here. Losing a bunch of pounds too quickly can be dangerous. The safe figure that I hear is between 8-10 pounds per month. So I think that professional medical advice may be indicated here.

These are reasonable concerns and have been researched and addressed by the company. Actually, it is one of the main reasons many people are skeptical at trying the program.

Once researched, the skepticism begins to decrease. Many doctors and chiropractors have tested the products on themselves before making it available to their clients.

Again, you gotta try it to believe it! Personal experience does not lie, I have lost 39lbs and kept it off since starting in December of last year....

Thanks, blessings..

P.S. Consult your physician, let him know you are trying a cleansing system, then have him watch your numbers. Seeing is believing!

and reflecting what theoldcoot says 'This is one of those procedures that, really, needs a professional medical opinion for each individual BEFORE they try it.'

You later agree with him, however your intel does not reflect this opinion, and really in my opinion should warn readers of the potential hazards of this weight loss technique.

A little knowledge can be a dangerous thing!

Sure I agree, if there is any concern about starting a new cleansing or weight loss system, then you should consult a physician before getting started.

That doesn't change our personal experience, or our recommendation to anyone who is looking for ways to safely and effectively lose weight.

Both you and theoldcoot are warning people about "potential hazards of this weight loss technique" without doing your research on this system. A little knowledge could change your opinion.

God bless!
Ron
